GOLDEN SANDS BEACH PARK
1.4 miles north of County Road 510 on A1A, this is one of Indian River
Counties Newest Beach Parks,
with lifeguards, restrooms, picnic areas and showers.
There is a shallow expansive reef close to shore extending out a 100 yards.
Surfing is NOT
recommended in this area.
Diving and Snorkeling is great on a calm clear
day. Lots of Cracks and crevices in 3 to 10 ft. depths, lobsters, tropicals
and fish. Turtles and Nurse sharks are common in this area.
DO NOT Dive this beach if there is any
wave action.
Divers should use caution in this reef area due to shallow depths.
